How much mortgage video content costs
Most agencies will not publish video pricing, which makes budgeting for it unnecessarily hard. Here are the actual numbers, what drives them, and how to tell which model fits your situation.
What drives the price
Three things: shoot time, finished asset count, and how much thinking happens before the camera turns on. Crew time on location is the fixed cost. Editing scales with the number of finished pieces. Scripting is where mortgage-specific work matters, because writing around loan products and a defined audience takes more research than writing generic business content.
What does not drive the price is filming volume. A two-hour shoot and a four-hour shoot cost roughly the same to set up; the difference in price reflects how much finished content comes out the other end.
Just Licensed Content Day: $2,500/month
Our Just Licensed Content Day is a monthly plan with 1 in-person shoot (2 HR), 6 finished videos, and 2 carousel graphics, with mortgage-specific scripts, captions, and delivery included. It is a starting point for an individual originator who wants a consistent stream of content each month.
More monthly plans: $4,000 to $7,000
Monthly plans exist because consistency, not production quality, is what builds a pipeline. Each includes one in-person shoot, mortgage-specific scripting, U.S.-based editing, carousel graphics, and ready-to-post captions.
- Producer, $4,000/month: 2-hour shoot, 10 video pieces, 2 carousel graphics, 3 posts per week
- Top Producer, $5,500/month: 3-hour shoot, 14 video pieces, 4 carousel graphics, 4 posts per week
- Elite Broker, $7,000/month: 4-hour shoot, 18 video pieces, 6 carousel graphics, 5 posts per week
Team media days: $7,500 to $13,500
For brokerages rather than individuals, media days are the lowest cost per asset available. One media day is $7,500 and produces 20 edited assets across up to 10 individuals, which works out to $375 per finished video including crew, direction, media training, and editing. Two media days are $13,500 for 40 assets.
How to choose
If you are one originator who has never posted consistently, start with the content day. If you already post and the bottleneck is production, a monthly plan removes it. If you run a team and the problem is that everyone's content looks different, a media day fixes the brand problem and the volume problem in the same block.
Travel outside our local radius, hair and makeup, and additional revisions are billed separately in every case. We scope those upfront rather than surfacing them later.
